Ahead of His General Hospital Return, Nathan Dean Drops *Another* Surprise On Us

It’s a good time to be Nathan Dean! Well, we’re sure it’s always a good time, but first, we got the news that he’d be bringing Luke and Holly’s son Ethan back to Port Charles in April, and now he revealed that he’s expanding his family once again!
Dean and wife Kate have two children already, but, as the actor shared in a pun-filled Taco Bell-laden Instagram post, they’ll soon be welcoming a third! They went all out from the “Dad” hat, to the Friends TV-shirt with a faux episode title, “The One Where Everyone Finds Out I’m Pregnant,” but just in case it wasn’t clear, Dean also held up a picture of the sonogram!
“We didn’t want to be cheesy,” Dean cracked, “but we think this next chapter is going to be a Baja Blast! I’m so lucky and blessed to have this wonderful woman in my life. She made me whole. And I can’t wait to see where this journey goes.”
The Taco Bell theme started earlier in the day when Ethan’s portrayer teased a reveal in another Instagram post with salsa packets with “Play. It. Cool.” and “It’s a Secret” written on them. But clearly neither the secret, nor the playing it cool lasted long!
We can’t wait to see what Ethan’s up to when he gets back to town, but now, on top of that, we can’t help thinking about how much we’d love to see him play an entirely new role: as dad! We’re sure Holly would love another grandchild and with how similar Ethan is to Luke in his wild days, seeing him attempt fatherhood would be one heck of a twist.
While we wait to see what his return brings, we just want to say congratulations to the expanding Dean family and all they have to celebrate!
