The Ultimate Revenge: Days of Our Lives’ Kristen Just Let Slip a Vicious Plan for Sophia

One of the biggest upsets we’ve seen among Days of Our Lives fans lately has been Kristen’s plan for Sophia. Or rather, we should say, Kristen’s lack of a plan for Sophia! Yes, she may be putting the fear of God into the teen and giving her no choice but to work together, but pretty much all of us were looking forward to Kristen showing Sophia what a true baddie can do to her enemies.
As Redditor, u/AMooPoint708 put it on the Days of Our Lives Reddit, “This is not how I had hoped things would go. I was so looking forward to Kristen tearing into Sophia.” We all were! Not this, “I wouldn’t harm a teen, so I’ll just use you to get revenge on EJ.” (And maybe Marlena.)
And while Kristen’s been slow to roll out her plan, we know that it involves getting to EJ through Johnny, something Sophia’s very much on board with. Oh, and Kristen’s playing coy with whether or not murder will be involved, but we do think that’s a bit far, even for her. We hope!
But then we watched Kristen teach Rachel a lesson on trust and Wednesday’s episode and started to realize: Kristen’s likely playing Sophia and still plotting her downfall! Because when Rachel lamented how Sophia tricked her into thinking they were friends, Kristen bluntly told her, “Sweetheart, you just learned an important lesson. If you’re not the brains of the operation, you’re probably the fall guy.”
It’s clear that Kristen is the brains behind Operation: Make EJ Pay. Sophia is just a tool for her to use. So it makes sense that when Johnny’s hurt and EJ’s laid low that Kristen cuts Sophia loose, pins all the blame on her and throws her to the wolves. Maybe she’ll be sent off to prison. Maybe the DiMeras will devour her.
As Kristen also told Rachel, revenge is a dish best served cold. And what can be colder than using Sophia, just as she did with Rachel, and then letting her take the fall for everything?
