Julie Hosting BB21

The countdown to Big Brother 28 has begun, thanks to a recent social media post from host Julie Chen Moonves.

It even led to a humorous response from the social media person at Pluto TV (where viewers can watch the Big Brother Live Feeds).

A new season of the hit show arrives this summer, and we may be within two months of the season premiere.

As recently reported by Tea on TV, producers are also looking for more BB28 cast members. They even teased what types of people they are looking for.

Julie Chen Moonves teases Big Brother 28

“Spring is here, and the countdown has already started!” teased Julie in a new Instagram post.

“The stars were out at #cbsfest last night … this means only one thing, #BigBrother is coming soon!” she added.

The reference was to CBS Fest. It’s a promotional event held each year to unveil the primetime schedule for the following year. It’s where fans find out when their favorite shows will air on TV. One example is that Survivor 51 will air in the fall, followed by a new season of The Amazing Race on Wednesday nights.

No, CBS Fest did not release the upcoming summer schedule for CBS.

“Spring • Big Brother • Fall • Winter 😎 the four seasons of the year! Who’s ready 👀 #BB28,” Julie’s post ended.

“Oh i love this!!! 🥹🥹🥹,” responded the Big Brother social media person.

“I’m so ready to work on BB again this summer 🤭,” responded the Pluto TV social media account.

Big Brother 28 comes to CBS this summer

So, when does Big Brother 28 start? We are just guessing here, but it now makes sense for CBS to debut on the show on Wednesday, July 8. It follows the Fourth of July holiday and allows for a two-part season premiere spread over Thursday, July 9.

Hopefully, CBS drops all that information very soon. There are already plenty of rumors online, including one that Netflix is reportedly buying the old studio where Big Brother was filmed.

For now, previous seasons of Big Brother are streaming on Paramount+.
