Big Brother reveals housemates facing eviction after first nominations of series
Big Brother has revealed which housemates will face eviction after receiving the most nominations. Cameron B, Elsa, George and Richard will all face the public vote ahead of this Friday’s live eviction, with viewers being asked to vote for the housemate they wish to save from eviction.
Though two evictions have already taken place in the series so far (Emily and Gani), tonight was the first time all of the housemates got to nominate.
George received the most nominations after fellow housemates Cameron B, Feyisola, Jenny, Nancy, Sam and Teja all said his name.
George’s nomination came after he was given a formal warning by Big Brother following an incident in Sunday’s episode where he mocked Sam.
During his nominations, George named Elsa and Sam as the housemates he’d like to see up for eviction.
Speaking about Sam, George noted that he had made Sam cry and added he didn’t think what he did “was that deep” and that Sam needed to be “a bit tougher”.
Sam in turn nominated George, saying that he often doesn’t “come from a place of empathy”. He also nominated Marcus for being “too hot”.
Cameron B received four nominations from Cameron, Elsa, Richard and Zelah. With Elsa also receiving four from Caroline, George, Jenny and Richard.
In a twist, Richard had been given the ‘Cursed Eye’, meaning he was not only up for eviction automatically but he also had to do his nominations in the living room in front of his fellow housemates.
Richard chose to nominate Elsa first, saying he didn’t feel she was being “herself” in the house and he might be doing her a favour by nominating her.
However, the nomination upset Elsa who later told Teja she now felt more out of place after being nominated.
Richard also nominated Cameron B for incorrectly stating the number of times he had snitched on housemates during the previous task.
