Days of Our Lives Exclusive: Sophia’s Freedom Could Cost Her *Everything*, Because Kristen Is Out for Blood!
Well that was certainly an exchange! After Sophia’s dramatic court appearance on last week’s Days of Our Lives, the teen is now out of Bayview and Rachel’s back in! Now, though, Brady, Marlena and Belle all know the truth about the pills and who was really behind the switch. And soon Kristen will find out. In fact, very soon.
We couldn’t say how far Kristen would go. We know that on Wednesday, she’s going to tear into the teen — but young or not, Sophia is still, legally, an adult. And any leniency Kristen might extend to a troubled kid could be out the door.
To make matters worse, as Belle said, the train has already left the station with Rachel’s return to Bayview. There’s not much they can do to reverse the judge’s decision, especially since Judge Danby made it without even knowing their theory that Rachel had been messing with Holly’s medication.
And that has got to infuriate Kristen even more. And put an even bigger target on Sophia’s back. But at the same time, the one saving grace could be not wanting to go back to prison — though not for Kristen’s own sake.
In fact, the very thought of it scares Kristen, Stacy Haiduk tells Soaps, “because she loves her daughter so very, very much, and she doesn’t want to not be with Rachel. I mean, I think about that with my own daughter. I’m like ‘I would do anything to keep her safe.’”
So while we don’t expect Kristen to resort to drastic, deadly measures, it’s a sure bet that she’ll make sure Sophia pays and learns never to mess with this mama grizzly or her daughter. “We know Kristen DiMera,” Haiduk warns, “and anything that happens to her daughter, she makes sure she takes care of it.”
“We’ll have to see what happens,” Kristen’s portrayer teases. Our bet? Sophia’s more than met her match. No matter how capable or brilliant she may think herself and her scheming, she’s no match for a DiMera defending family.
We already saw EJ take her down for Johnny. Now it’s Kristen’s turn to finish the job for Rachel. One way or another, we have a feeling this could finally be the end of Sophia and her threat to any DiMera.
