Only six castaways remain on “Survivor” season 49.

The latest episode, “Cherry on Top,” aired Wednesday, Dec. 3, and brought the remaining contestants one step closer to the title of Sole Survivor and $1 million.

The episode saw one castaway try to get back at the person who eliminated their day-one ally. Another castaway raced against Mother Nature to outrun the tides. The episode also featured a new version of a familiar immunity challenge.

Who left ‘Survivor’ last night?

Sophie Segreti, a 31-year-old strategy associate, was sent home from “Survivor” during episode 11.

“I was just unanimously blindsided. Honestly, I’m taking it a little bit like a compliment that this means I was a big threat to everybody’s game,” Segreti said in her exit interview. “I guess now I’m the ‘other Sophie’ because I’m the first Sophie voted out, which stings.”

After winning two immunity challenges and playing both alliances, the 31-year-old strategy associate could no longer slide under the radar. Her plan to vote out fellow challenge beast Savannah Louie ultimately failed, and she became the fifth member of the jury.

The “Survivor” jury is made up of eliminated castaways who vote to determine the game’s winner among two or three finalists, according to RSurvivor Wiki. The eliminated castaways are those from the latter half of the season, typically past the merge portion, according to Survivor Wiki.
